Hey! It’s been quite a while since we did a staycation. Mommy and Daddy Bear thought the last weekend before Ramadhan was a good idea. So here we are! We chose to stay in The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta. It’s located in the Menteng area, which is in central of Jakarta. My impression of this hotel is classic, yet luxurious. I really love the small details in every corner of the hotel: lots of fabric with enticing patterns and colors. They also use the high-end marble furniture. Daddy Bear said the hotel ambience reminds him of the hotels in England. It’s also a nice change for us, as we often stay in massive skyscraper building hotels. This hotel only has 9 floors, with a rooftop bar and swimming pool. Also, it’s an eco-friendly hotel, which means no plastic, and they use compostable paper straws. Long story short, we love it!
Hei! Sudah cukup lama sejak kami menginap di hotel. Mommy dan Daddy Bear berpikir akhir pekan lalu sebelum Ramadhan adalah ide yang bagus. Jadi di sinilah kami! Kami memilih untuk tinggal di The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta. Hotel ini terletak di daerah Menteng, yang berada di pusat kota Jakarta. Kesan saya tentang hotel ini klasik, namun mewah. Saya sangat suka detail kecil di setiap sudut hotel: banyak kain dengan pola dan warna yang memikat. Mereka juga menggunakan furnitur marmer kelas atas. Daddy Bear berkata bahwa suasana hotel mengingatkannya pada hotel-hotel di Inggris. Ini juga merupakan perubahan yang menyenangkan bagi kami, karena kami sering menginap di hotel gedung pencakar langit yang besar. Hotel ini hanya memiliki 9 lantai, dengan bar dan kolam renang di atap. Selain itu, ini adalah hotel yang ramah lingkungan, yang berarti tidak ada plastik, dan mereka menggunakan sedotan kertas kompos. Singkat cerita, kami menyukainya!

1. The Room:
Layout and Interior: 5/5 - 60 m²/646 ft², although the room has no carpet and no wooden floor like most hotels, it does not change the sumptuousness of this hotel. The touch of colorful fabrics enrich the pretty white room. It has a living room, or sitting area, and has 2 Tvs and 3 telephones.
The View: 4/5 - Since we got a ground floor room, we didn't really have a nice view, apart from the small terrace with the umbrella patio which is surrounded by some plants. It was quite nice though.
1. Ruangan:
Tata ruang dan bagian dalamnya: 5/5 - 60 m²/646 ft², meskipun kamar tidak memiliki karpet dan tidak ada lantai kayu seperti kebanyakan hotel, itu tidak mengubah kemewahan hotel ini. Sentuhan kain warna-warni memperkaya ruang putih yang cantik. Terdapat ruang tamu, atau area duduk, dan memiliki 2 TV dan 3 telepon.
Pemandangannya: 4/5 - Karena kami mendapatkan kamar di lantai dasar, kami tidak memiliki pemandangan yang indah, selain dari teras kecil dengan payung teras yang dikelilingi oleh beberapa tanaman. Itu cukup bagus.
Bathroom: 5/5 - Perfecto! Love how they designed it, love the bath tub, love the showers, love the double sinks. The toilet is not the best or the most sophisticated one, but it’s alright. It won’t change the value of the bathroom.
Toiletries: 4/5 - Not my favorite: I’m not impressed with the scent of the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. But Daddy Bear seems to like the shower gel that contains a scrub. Nothing special about the bathrobe or slippers, they are okay.
Kamar Mandi: 5/5 - Sempurna! Cinta bagaimana mereka mendesainnya, cinta bak mandinya, cinta pancuran airnya, cinta wastafel gandanya. Toiletnya bukan yang terbaik, atau yang paling canggih, tapi tidak apa-apa. Itu tidak akan mengubah nilai kamar mandi.
Perlengkapan Mandi: 4/5 - Bukan favorit saya: Saya tidak terkesan dengan aroma sampo, kondisioner, dan shower gel. Tapi Daddy Bear sepertinya menyukai shower gel yang mengandung scrub. Tidak ada yang istimewa dengan kimono mandi atau sandal-sandalnya, mereka oke-oke saja.
Room Service: 4.5/5 - The Wagyu Fried Rice’s portion was a bit small, but it was tasty! We also had the Chicken Wings. Yummy! I asked for sambal, and they gave me extra.
Servis Kamar: 4.5/5 - Porsi Nasi Goreng Wagyu agak kecil, tapi enak! Kami juga makan Chicken Wings. Lezat! Saya meminta sambal, dan mereka memberi saya tambahan.
2. Amenities:
Swimming Pool: 4.5/5 - It’s not big and not deep, but I’m fine with that. I still like their pretty rooftop swimming pool. They also gave us free cold infused water in 2 big glasses.
2. Fasilitas:
Kolam Renang: 4.5/5 - Kolam renangnya tidak besar dan tidak dalam, tapi saya suka-suka saja dengan itu. Saya tetap suka kolam renang rooftop mereka yang cantik. Mereka juga memberi kami air dingin gratis dalam 2 gelas besar.
Breakfast: 4/5 - They don’t have a vast selection, but the food was quite tasty. The restaurant was so neat and comfortable too. They offer a special most mornings too; I had Eggs Benedict with smoked Salmon, which was pretty good.
Sarapan Pagi: 4/5 - Mereka tidak memiliki banyak pilihan, tetapi makanannya cukup lezat. Restoran juga sangat rapi dan nyaman. Mereka menawarkan pagi paling istimewa juga; Saya makan Eggs Benedict dengan Salmon asap, yang cukup enak.
3. Location: 5/5 - It’s in central Jakarta, not far from Hotel Indonesia roundabout, which is close to everything. It’s definitely a great location to stay!
4. Overall service: 5/5 - Excellent! All the staff are friendly and helpful. They made conversation with us, with Izzy Bear especially.
5. Value: 5/5 - I think for us it’s worth the value. They even gave us the complimentary all-you-can-eat tapas and free flow beverage; wine, juice, beer, still and sparkling water. We couldn’t ask for more!
3. Lokasi: 5/5 - Berada di Jakarta pusat, tidak jauh dari bundaran Hotel Indonesia, yang dekat dengan segalanya. Pastinya lokasi yang tepat untuk menginap!
4. Servis Secara Keseluruhan: 5/5 - Luar biasa! Semua staf ramah dan membantu. Mereka bercakap-cakap dengan kami, terutama dengan Izzy Bear.
5. Harga: 5/5 - Saya pikir bagi kami itu sepadan dengan nilainya. Mereka bahkan memberi kami tapas makan sepuasnya dan minuman gratis; wine, jus, bir, air mineral dan air soda. Kami tidak ingin meminta lebih dari itu!
