Selamat siang Teman!
We are finally in Sydney, Australia. The first hotel I would like to review is Hotel Bondi. It’s located nearby Bondi Beach. Established in 1919. This is actually a 3-star hotel, but the price per night is like 4 or 5 star hotels’ rate in Jakarta. *sigh* We stayed there only for one night. Our hotel room was small, but the balcony was big! Some rooms have their own private balconies facing towards Bondi beach, including ours. What a perfect view! We also got free WiFi!
Kami akhirnya berada di Sydney, Australia. Hotel pertama yang ingin saya tinjau adalah Hotel Bondi. Terletak di dekat Pantai Bondi. Didirikan pada tahun 1919. Ini sebenarnya adalah hotel bintang 3, tetapi harga per malam seperti tarif hotel bintang 4 atau 5 di Jakarta. *nafas panjang* Kami tinggal di sana hanya untuk satu malam. Kamar hotel kami kecil, tapi balkonnya besar! Beberapa kamar memiliki balkon pribadi sendiri yang menghadap ke pantai Bondi, termasuk kamar kami. Benar-benar pemandangan yang sempurna! Kami juga mendapat WiFi gratis!
The first time we arrived, we got lost for a bit, we tried to find the hotel lobby, yet we came from the other side of the main door. We took the back door that was actually the bar’s door, then we walked through the bar and the bistro area along with our belongings before we finally found the alley to the hotel lobby, which was actually in front of the building. Err... I don’t know why we chose the hard way to get in. Oh well, we got it eventually!
Pertama kali kami tiba, kami tersesat sebentar, kami mencoba menemukan lobi hotel, namun kami datang dari sisi lain pintu utama. Kami mengambil pintu belakang yang sebenarnya adalah pintu bar, lalu kami berjalan melewati bar dan area bistro bersama barang-barang kami sebelum akhirnya menemukan gang ke lobi hotel, yang sebenarnya ada di depan gedung. Err... Saya tidak tahu mengapa kami memilih cara yang sulit untuk masuk. Oh well, akhirnya kami menemukannya!
They only had one receptionist at the time. He welcomed us with smile and tried to wave and chat a little bit with Izzy. It was a nice gesture of him. He then allowed us to check-in an hour before the check-in time, since we got there earlier than we expected. That guy asked us whether we need 2 access cards or just one. I answered just one. I forgot that I normally keep another card for my hotel cards collection. But it doesn’t matter now. We realized that this kind of hotel is those that will ask all the access cards back later when we check-out.
Mereka hanya punya satu resepsionis pada saat itu. Dia menyambut kami dengan senyum dan mencoba melambai dan mengobrol sedikit dengan Izzy. Itu adalah sikap yang baik baginya. Dia kemudian mengizinkan kami untuk check-in satu jam sebelum waktu check-in, karena kami tiba di sana lebih awal dari yang kami harapkan. Orang itu bertanya kepada kami apakah kami memerlukan 2 kartu akses atau hanya satu. Saya hanya menjawab satu. Saya lupa bahwa saya biasanya menyimpan kartu lain untuk koleksi kartu hotel saya. Tapi itu tidak masalah sekarang. Kami menyadari bahwa hotel jenis ini adalah mereka yang akan meminta semua kartu akses kembali nanti ketika kami check-out.
After we settled our payment, since we chose ‘Pay at the Property’ option on the travel application, we then took all our belongings into the lift in front of the reception to the 2nd floor of the hotel.
Setelah kami melunasi pembayaran kami, karena kami memilih opsi 'Bayar di Properti' pada aplikasi perjalanan, kami kemudian membawa semua barang kami ke lift di depan resepsionis ke lantai 2 hotel.

(-) Ruangan kecil dan tidak ada sikat gigi.
