This hotel provided some detergent for washing clothes and liquid soap to clean our dirty pots. However, they did not provide toothbrush and tooth paste; maybe we should have asked, or maybe none of the 4-star hotels provide them in Sydney. We didn’t bother to ask, since we brought our own. They also did not replace or add our shampoo, etc on our second and third day when they made our bed and tidied up our room. I realized when the shampoo bottle started to be empty on our third day of the stay. We then called the receptionist to request more, they said they will deliver them to our room. Mommy had to wait under the shower, but they never came, so Daddy had to go down to collect them. Maybe they were short-staffed or something.
Overall, it was a nice stay. I think this hotel apartment is more suitable for big family. It felt so empty for only the three of us; we tried to use the living room though, and at least the bed was comfy. :)
Still in Sydney, Australia. It’s time to review the Oaks on Castlereagh. Honestly, Mommy often forgets this hotel apartment’s name. It’s a bit hard to remember. So this is our 3rd hotel in Sydney. We decided to move to a different hotel in a different area for another 3 nights. This hotel apartment is quite big; it has a big living room with a balcony, although the view was not the greatest, but it also has its own kitchen, a washing machine, etc. All what we needed basically, since Mommy and Daddy wanted to wash some clothes and prepare some food.
Masih di Sydney, Australia. Saatnya untuk meninjau Oaks di Castlereagh. Sejujurnya, Mommy sering lupa nama apartemen hotel ini. Agak sulit untuk diingat. Jadi ini adalah hotel ke-3 kami di Sydney. Kami memutuskan untuk pindah ke hotel yang berbeda di area yang berbeda selama 3 malam. Apartemen hotel ini cukup besar; ia memiliki ruang tamu besar dengan balkon, meskipun pemandangannya bukan yang terbaik, tetapi juga memiliki dapur sendiri, mesin cuci, dll. Semua yang kami butuhkan pada dasarnya, karena Mommy dan Daddy ingin mencuci pakaian dan menyiapkan beberapa makanan.
We took a train to the Museum station: the sky looked like it was about to cry when we reached the station, so we tried to walk as soon as possible so we don’t get wet. It took 5-7 minutes of walking to get to this hotel. Phew! Thank God, we were right on time, the rain started pouring when we got there. The lobby was quite big, but it felt empty, and was far from fancy. They had 2 receptionists that were ready to help. Daddy went to one of them and checked-in. Mommy was there waiting on the sofa with Izzy, right in front of the receptionist desk. There was a family group trying to take a selfie picture with a phone, trying to fit everyone in one frame, but failing. One of them moved out of his position and offered to take their pictures, offering to sacrifice himself in a way, but I offered to help instead. They were so happy! The little things can change everything.
Kami naik kereta ke stasiun Museum: langit tampak seperti akan menangis ketika kami sampai di stasiun, jadi kami mencoba berjalan sesegera mungkin agar tidak basah. Butuh 5-7 menit berjalan kaki untuk sampai ke hotel ini. Fiuh! Terima kasih Tuhan, kami tepat waktu, hujan mulai turun ketika kami sampai di sana. Lobi itu cukup besar, tetapi terasa kosong, dan jauh dari kesan mewah. Mereka memiliki 2 resepsionis yang siap membantu. Daddy pergi ke salah satu dari mereka dan check-in. Mommy ada di sana menunggu di sofa dengan Izzy, tepat di depan meja resepsionis. Ada kelompok keluarga yang mencoba mengambil gambar selfie dengan telepon, mencoba menyesuaikan semua orang dalam satu bingkai, tetapi gagal. Salah satu dari mereka pindah dari posisinya dan menawarkan untuk mengambil foto mereka, menawarkan untuk mengorbankan dirinya dengan cara tertentu, tetapi saya menawarkan untuk membantu. Mereka sangat senang! Hal-hal kecil dapat mengubah segalanya.
There was not so much to see in that empty lobby, but luckily not long after that group left, Daddy was done with the check-in. We then took all our belongings into the lift and got into our room on the 17th floor.

Hotel ini menyediakan deterjen untuk mencuci pakaian dan sabun cair untuk membersihkan panci kotor kami. Namun, mereka tidak menyediakan sikat gigi dan pasta gigi; mungkin kita seharusnya bertanya, atau mungkin tidak ada hotel bintang 4 yang menyediakannya di Sydney. Kami tidak repot bertanya, karena kami membawa sendiri. (+) Clean kitchen and bathroom, big living room with double door to the balcony.
(-) The furniture in the living room looked quite old.
(+) Dapur dan kamar mandi bersih, ruang tamu besar dengan pintu ganda ke balkon.
(-) Perabotan-perabotannya di ruang tamu terlihat agak tua.
Overall, it was a nice stay. I think this hotel apartment is more suitable for big family. It felt so empty for only the three of us; we tried to use the living room though, and at least the bed was comfy. :)
Secara keseluruhan, ini adalah pengalaman menginap yang menyenangkan. Saya pikir apartemen hotel ini lebih cocok untuk keluarga besar. Rasanya kosong hanya untuk kami bertiga; Kami mencoba menggunakan ruang tamunya, dan setidaknya tempat tidur nyaman. :)
