Sweet Escape #8 - Paris : Hotel Balzac (Bilingual)

Hi - I have just flicked through my holiday pictures, I remembered when we were in Paris and people kept saying “mignon” to Izzy which means ‘little’, plus something I didn’t catch fast enough, and when they tried to play with her, they kept saying “cou-cou” that means peek-a-boo, I found out after googling. Lol.

Hai - Saya baru saja membolak-balik foto liburan saya, saya ingat ketika kami berada di Paris dan orang-orang terus mengatakan "mignon" kepada Izzy yang berarti 'kecil', ditambah sesuatu yang tidak saya tangkap dengan cukup cepat, dan ketika mereka mencoba bermain dengan dia, mereka terus mengatakan "cou-cou" yang berarti ciluk-ba, saya menemukan setelah googling. Hahaha.

Speaking of Paris, France, and its beautiful lingo, I want to share about this beautiful Parisian hotel where we stayed when we were in Paris.

Berbicara tentang Paris, Prancis, dan bahasanya yang indah, saya ingin berbagi tentang hotel bernuansa Paris yang indah ini dimana tempat kami tinggal ketika kami berada di Paris.

We were allowed to check in early! Our room was ready at 12 PM as we requested. We also got an extra 1 hour late check out. Happy days!

Kami diizinkan check-in lebih awal! Kamar kami sudah siap pukul 12 siang seperti yang kami minta. Kami juga mendapat 1 jam keterlambatan check out. Hari yang menyenangkan!

I was glad that we did not get the room on the upper floor, since for me it’s easier and faster to walk with Izzy when we are on the first floor. Our view was not the best, but it was okay. They also have rooms with a beautiful view of the Eiffel tower, but the room is way more expensive. I did not think we needed that kind of view. I had the experience with the Eiffel tower view once when I travelled with Daddy Bear. So I think that was enough.

Saya senang bahwa kami tidak mendapatkan kamar di lantai atas, karena bagi saya itu lebih mudah dan lebih cepat untuk berjalan dengan Izzy ketika kami berada di lantai pertama. Pemandangan kami bukan yang terbaik, tapi tidak apa-apa.  Mereka juga memiliki kamar-kamar dengan pemandangan menara Eiffel yang indah, tetapi kamarnya jauh lebih mahal. Saya tidak berpikir kami membutuhkan pemandangan seperti itu. Saya dulu pernah memiliki pengalaman dengan pemandangan menara Eiffel ketika saya bepergian dengan Daddy Bear. Jadi saya pikir itu sudah cukup.

(+) The interior design is beautiful, and the location is nearby Arc de Triomphe and just a stones-throw from the Champs-Elysées.

(-) The room is small.

(+) Desain tata ruangnya indah, dan lokasinya dekat dengan Arc de Triomphe dan hanya selempar batu dengan Champs-Elysées.

(-) Ruangannya kecil.

By the way, the mentioned rate above did not include the breakfast. I chose “pay at the property” option for breakfast, in case I could not wake up early due to having jetlag. I paid €38 extra for the breakfast on the second day. At the end of the day, we enjoyed our stay at the boutique hotel Balzac. Most of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. x

Ngomong-ngomong, harga yang disebutkan di atas tidak termasuk sarapan. Saya memilih opsi ”bayar di tempat” untuk sarapan, jaga-jaga saya tidak dapat bangun lebih awal karena mengalami jetlag. Saya membayar tambahan €38 untuk sarapan di hari ke dua. Pada akhir hari, kami menikmati kami menginap di hotel butik Balzac. Sebagian besar staf juga sangat ramah dan membantu. x
